The alpha release, Version 1.6, of the Wakespeed Configuration and Monitoring Utility App has been released. The prime focus of the latest app release includes the updated Wakespeed branding, End User Agreements, and Terms of Use. and improved performance. Users can expect the following notable changes within the Wakespeed Configuration and Monitoring Utility App:
- Better handling of Cloud based resource updates between releases; both the resource files (Alternators, Batteries, etc.), as well as firmware. These changes will allow users who do not always have Internet access to have more up to date recourses when they utilize the app while not connected to the internet.
- Seamless handling of APS500 regulators: The Wakespeed Configuration and Monitoring Utility App will now work with APS branded regulators.
- Revised Privacy Policy: New EULA.
- Improved integration with the phone’s OS when doing file searches and imports.
- Improved handing of Firmware updating
- Support for Feature-Out Mode #3: Solid lamp upon fault (vs. Blink out fault code #)
- As well as other bug fixes and enhancements.
Version 1.6 of the Wakespeed Configuration and Monitoring Utility App is available for free on Android and iPhone iOS platforms and can be downloaded in the App Store and Google Play Store.
